I am a fully qualified Occupational Therapist who graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from Oxford Brookes University in 1992. Over the last 25 years I have gained experience in providing support to children to help them to improve their abilities in everyday activities including play, school, and developmental tasks.
Training
I hold qualifications in Sensory Integration and Sensory Attachment Intervention. I am also registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have also completed many relevant courses in attachment, autism, and sensory integration.
My Approach
Having 3 children I understand the challenges involved for both child and parent in accessing support, education, and general wellbeing. My son and daughters are now young adults and I strive to treat every child with compassion, in a way that is sensitive to their age and development, and one that empowers both child and parent.
